In some cases, mental illness results from changes in the brain that occur from drug or alcohol abuse. In addition to the outstanding support provided by our clinical team, each client meets with our medical director upon admission. The client will furthermore be seen by a medical provider on a weekly basis while in our residential program. If necessary, psychiatric evaluations will be completed in addition to medical evaluations, and medications (that do not have a propensity for addiction) can be prescribed and managed for mental health issues.
